Meet your neighbors in the park! Central Park, with its 55-acres of green space, trails, picnic areas, playgrounds, and the Chesterfield Amphitheater, is the hub of the community. From the BBQ Blowout Competition in the fall and the summer concert series at the amphitheater, Central Park gives Chesterfield residents a “go-to” spot for events and entertainment year-round. The park also features public art, stream walks, a dog park, and the Chesterfield Family Aquatic Center. The Ed Nestor Memorial Backstoppalooza concert is an annual event that brings the entire Chesterfield community together. Sponsored by the BackStoppers organization, which provides financial aid to families of fallen police officers and firefighters, the concert is held in the Chesterfield Amphitheater and provides a great night of food, fun, and live music to benefit a wonderful cause. Over the last eight years, Backstoppalooza has raised over $360,000 for local families.
