Dining, Entertainment, and Shopping

The area’s latest favorite spot is a new, unique wine and spirits venue. Wild Crush Wine Barn features self-dispensing wine machines, premium liquors, and seasonal slushies. Bring your pup to enjoy the dog-friendly patio, or stop inside the stunning barn for drinks and beautiful charcuterie boards. The wine barn features live music, and it’s the perfect venue for special events and private parties.

Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant offers a modern and casual dining experience with contemporary American fare. Infusing flavors from around the world, Cooper’s specializes in providing quality and fresh ingredients, and almost every meal is made from scratch in their kitchen. The tasting rooms channel those of Napa, Italy — luxury decanters, wine accessories, and gourmet foods line the perimeter of the room, allowing guests to browse while they taste the subtle, robust, and tantalizing flavors of wines around the globe.

Owned by husband and wife team Ted and Katie Collier, Katie’s Pizza and Pasta is an award-winning artisan restaurant providing Town and Country residents with the best Italian food. Channeling her experiences cooking in Italy with her family, Katie creates modern twists on Italian classics. Katie’s Pizza and Pasta has won numerous awards, like “Best Pizza & Best Pasta” by Feast Magazine, and was named Sauce Magazine's “Chef of the Year” for the second year in a row in 2018. The goal of the restaurant is to provide a place that values quality time spent with friends and family over “passion-filled food.”

Things to Do

The Fall Fire and Ice Festival at Longview Farm Park is a family favorite. The event features live music, inflatable games, dozens of local food vendors, and pony rides. The annual event benefits the Equine-Assisted Therapy organization, which provides horsemanship experiences to members of the broader St. Louis area who have mental, physical, and psychological disabilities. The organization has played a key role in the Town and Country community, and the Fire and Ice Festival is well-attended and supported each year.

The festival is held at Longview Farm Park, the neighborhood’s leading attraction. The park boasts a 120-year-old original barn, perfectly maintained gardens, and hiking and walking trails leading around the lake and pastures. The park is home to almost every Town and Country community event and is a popular spot for weddings and special events.

Town and Country also hosts a Summer Concert Series in Town Square. From May-October, residents enjoy the talents of local and regional artists in the newly constructed Town Square. The event showcases local food and drink vendors and is open to all Town and Country residents.
