Creve Coeur's dining corridor along Olive Boulevard and Old Olive Street Road is changing this fall, but it isn't getting new buildings. Of the six restaurant addresses with news in the past year, at least four are in spaces another restaurant ran before. The two that earned the most recognition this year, one from Yelp and one from the City of Creve Coeur, both took over rooms with long histories and made something different of them.
That pattern helps make sense of everything else opening, or about to open, between Interstate 270 and the stretch near Old Olive.
The Room That Has Been Three Restaurants
St. Louis Magazine reported on October 1, 2026 that Oh London, at 11411 Olive, ranked No. 13 on Yelp's Best New Restaurants of 2026, a national list of 25. The only other Missouri restaurant on the list is 1587 Prime in Kansas City at No. 6, and no Missouri restaurant made Yelp's 2025 list.
The building has been here longer than the name. Oh London took over the former Reserve Restaurant & Lounge, which had replaced Granite City Food & Brewery. The space is more than 11,000 square feet, with a large bar, several dining areas and a private event room. Raj and Shweta Pandey run it. They're the husband-and-wife team behind Black Salt in Chesterfield, and they filled that big footprint with British pub food, American comfort dishes and global specials, all under one roof. Dishes cited in Yelp reviews include panko-crusted fish and chips, bangers and mash, butter chicken curry and chicken tikka masala. On Sundays there's a jazz brunch with an all-you-can-eat buffet, a carving station, made-to-order omelets and bottomless mimosas.
The ranking measures something specific. Yelp started with full-service restaurants that opened after January 1, 2025, then ranked them using review volume and ratings, among other factors. St. Louis Magazine pointed out that as of October 2026, Oh London's Yelp rating was 3.7 out of 5, while many other honorees averaged 4.3. Some of the lower scores came from the restaurant's early days and still count toward its average. Yelp's communications director, Brenae Leary, described the broader standard this way:
"The broader test is whether a restaurant lives up to the hype and has endeared itself to the community."
The same team also opened a Black Salt location in Creve Coeur in January 2025, and that location has since closed. Raj Pandey told the magazine he is working toward an upscale Indian restaurant in the Clayton area, aimed at fall 2028 and still in early planning.
A Deli Address That Kept Its Reuben
Down the road at 10405 Old Olive Street Road, Pierce Creek went into the former home of Kohn's Kosher Deli. Sauce Magazine identified the owners as Kent Evans and Rachelle L'Ecuyer. Rather than erase the address's past, the kitchen draws on it. Ladue News reported that the deli's former owner makes pastramis for the menu, which also includes smash burgers and a breakfast lineup. St. Louis Magazine describes the Reuben as Kohn's-style.
The city noticed. In May 2026, Creve Coeur named Pierce Creek its Favorite Restaurant for 2026. The award noted the restaurant's ribbon cutting the year before and said it "has quickly become a favorite gathering place within the Creve Coeur community." The city's description adds detail beyond the burgers:
- Breakfast: steak and eggs, biscuits and gravy, babka French toast, corned beef hash
- Lunch and dinner: soups, sandwiches, salads and smash burgers made from locally sourced, pasture-raised beef
- Butcher shop and market: seasonal produce and local eggs and cheese
- Bakery: Danish pastries, tarts and gooey butter cake
- Extras: weekly live music nights and the "Moobile" food truck
St. Louis Magazine included Pierce Creek in its 2025 best-new-restaurants coverage and singled out the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich and the cannoli. The restaurant's site lists service Tuesday through Saturday, with food from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and the bar open until 9 p.m.
So the two most recognized restaurants in this part of Creve Coeur over the past year took different approaches. One filled a former brewery-restaurant space with three cuisines. The other built on a deli's legacy and added a butcher counter.
September Filled Two More Rooms
The October 5 openings roundup in St. Louis Magazine lists two Creve Coeur openings on Olive in September 2026.
Elby Donuts opened an additional location at 11252 Olive on September 11. The company describes itself as veteran-owned and family-run. Its lineup includes apple fritters, cinnamon twists, long johns and assorted dozens. The hours on its website are for the Manchester Road shop, so it's best to confirm the Olive location's hours directly before an early stop.
Rajadhani opened at 12316 Olive on September 17, in the space Santa Fe Bistro used to occupy. Santa Fe Bistro had opened at that address in July 2022. No local coverage reviewed for this post has described Rajadhani's menu in detail yet. Its online ordering page lists the restaurant under Creve Coeur.

Two Openings Still on the Calendar
The last two rows haven't opened yet, and neither has a confirmed opening date.
Sourdough & Co is coming to 12589 Olive as a franchise run by the Mitchell family. Sauce reported in July 2026 that the fast-casual concept focuses on sourdough sandwiches, soups, salads and bread bowls, with the French Dip, Garlic Pesto Turkey, Pastrami Reuben and clam chowder among the highlights. St. Louis Magazine's October 5 roundup expected it in October. The company's own location page still says "Coming Soon." The brand opened a location at 12340 Manchester on September 20 if you'd like to try it sooner.
Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is the last of the reused rooms. It's moving into the former California Pizza Kitchen at 10590 Old Olive. KSDK reported that California Pizza Kitchen had closed there but couldn't say when. According to West Newsmagazine, the Creve Coeur City Council approved the permit for a 6,285-square-foot full-service restaurant with patio seating. The proposed hours run until 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, with a 10 a.m. start on weekends. Those hours were part of the proposal, so final hours may differ. The Creve Coeur menu Firebirds has posted includes lobster-spinach queso, bacon-wrapped filet mignon, wood-grilled salmon, and shrimp and grits. St. Louis Magazine still listed the opening as "fall" on October 5.
The Corridor Through One October Week
Taken together, these places now cover a full week on Olive and Old Olive, from breakfast to a weekend dinner, without a single new building. The Creve Coeur–Olivette Chamber's calendar books Pierce Creek twice this month.
- Friday, October 16: The Chamber's Women's Business Group meets at Timothy's The Restaurant in Creve Coeur.
- Wednesday, October 21: The Men's B2B Business Breakfast meets at Pierce Creek.
- Thursday, October 22: Business After Hours returns to Pierce Creek.
- Any Sunday: Oh London's jazz brunch, with its carving station and made-to-order omelets.
Rajadhani has been open since September 17, and Elby's Olive shop since September 11. Sourdough & Co and Firebirds should follow before the end of fall, at 12589 Olive and 10590 Old Olive.
